fortune favor

Why do you think the author had Macbeth win, though he wrote Fortune seemed to favor Macdonwald?  What sort of man fights like Macbeth did? 

Macbeth won because he was the main character and he has the most heart! Macbeth is very loyal and even though fortune favored Macdowald , Mecbeth was still the better man. Malcolm is a man that fights a lot like Mecbeth and is very stong at what he does. He will Not stop untill he knows that he has won the battle.

   

How did you scene go!

Describe the process you took to present your scene.  What went well? Not so well? What would you do differently next time you had to do a scene?

the first step to getting are scene together was getting a group of people and picking a scene. then we had to read over the scene and cut out parts that we personally thought were not important. then took how manny people we had and used the most important characters. then practice are lines and think of how we were going to enter the stage. then memorize are lines to make sure we were ready for the big day. Overall the scene went okay but it could have went a lot smother. i would practice and go over the scene with my group a lot more then what we did and i would invest in better swords.

Who is weaker?

Who is weaker? Macbeth or Lady Macbeth? Why?



  Lady Macbeth is the weaker person out of the two because she pressured Macbeth to kill king Duncan. she couldnt kill the king herself and she doesnt have the state of mind to do what she wanted to be done. In the end Lady Macbeth ended up going crazy and sleepwalking around the castle talking and feeling guilty about the killing of duncan. The guilt made her go crazy and kill her self while Macbeth kept his head straight and strong.

Paranoia

Are Macbeth’s paranoia due to his own weakness or a consequence of what he did?

Maceth's paranoia is due to his consequence of killing king duncan. Now Macbeth is Afraid that someone might find out that he killed duncan and challenge him of his thrown. The three witches tell him that Mcduff's children are to become king next, so macbeth has Macduff's whole family murdered. Macbeth does not want anything to get in his way of staying king and he will do what ever it takes to stay in the position he is in.

So What is up with Macduff?

   Macduff did not want to go to the celebration for macbeth because he thought that Macbeth was the one that killed duncan and he didn't want to risk his life as well.I think that Macbeth will try to have Banquo murdered to secure his saftey as king. Macbeth wont kill Banquo with his own hands because he has the power to make others do it for him, so why stain his own hands.He feels threatened by Banquo since he is so noble that he is going to have to get rid of him. Macbeth is afraid of getting  caught by Banquo and he does not want to be challenged for the thrown.

Discuss the question, what does it mean to be a “man”?  Do you agree with Lady Macbeth’s view? Or do you think Macbeth’s consideration is more “manly”?

I think that Macbeth is considered to be more of a man then Lady Macbeth because it takes heart to think twice about killing duncan. Macbeth simply was being loyal to his king at first but then when it came to Lady Macbeth calling him a Coward he snapped and went along with what she wanted to be done. Macbeth showed courage and bravery when he was loyal to King Duncan instead of when Lady Macbeth convinces him to take part in the murder. killing Duncan was not his attention until Lady Macbeth made him be switch up and do what she wanted. 

Ambitions

Create your own argument: Whose ambition is driving this killing of Duncan, really? It is clear that neither character is telling Duncan or Banquo how they really feel, but do they tell one another?  Be sure to pick lines that show you both direct and indirect evidence for your argument. 

It is really clear that Lady macbeth wants duncan killed more then Macbeth himself because she says she would kill her own baby if it had to be done. she went into deep imagination describing how she would do something and she would do it no matter the risk or position. "what must be done must be done" this is something that Lady Macbeth believes in. She influences Macbeth in killing king duncan, only because she wants her hands clean at the end of the day because if anything She believes Macbeth will take fall and she will still be on top at the end of it all.
